It’s not everyday that a band can release a song that transports you back decades. However, The Sufis send us on a time machine back to the 60′s with their Beatles influences sounds of rock. From the hazy guitar and vocals to the flickering flute, you can hear the influences of past psych generations with a new age twist. I can’t wait to hear their entire debut album, which will be available on tape in June on Burger Records (one of my all time favorite labels)!

Bri Ana included a bit about the session, along with some of their (current) favorite tunes: Funny thing about our e-shoot…I don’t think we’d kissed as much as we did that day (in public at least) since the first month we were dating! The photo shoot brought back a taste of that amazing, intoxicating, stomach churning disorientation that is the very first part of falling for someone. And somehow those feelings are even more magnified when you know with all your heart that the person you’re falling for is the one. Honestly, I think we were booth dizzy and googly eyed for a good week afterward, if not still. So, on that note, here a few of our favorite songs about falling in love:

This weekend was AMAZING! My husband camped out and photographed one of the most incredible weddings ever. It was an amazing experience! Today I’m wrapping this wedding weekend with a gorgeous garden ceremony! On today’s playlist it’s a bit of British Invasion with The Dave Clark Five. These pop rockers keep my feet tapping and heart singing!
