Meet the Vendor: Fresh In Love Photography

I’m gathering quite the page of kick ass vendors/inspiration sites*. These are people in the industry that not only would you draw inspiration from for your special day, but you can just as easily sit down with and have a beer (or coffee). And since Hi-Fi is all about the tunes in our lives, we’re gonna get to know what these peeps dig on musically.

Perhaps you will recognize Fresh In Love Photography’s name from her lovely engagement session I featured a while back. But what you can’t tell from those photos is what the lady behind the lens is like. We’ve chatted happily among email chains and I’ve had the pleasure of learning about Melissa. After all, when you grow up touring with the circus in Australia, life is FULL of excitement and new adventures. And how awesome it must be for Melissa to now capture new adventures among couples as they begin their life together!

If you could go see anyone perform live who would it be?
It would be Ryland Bouchard…in a little shop in Paris. This is hands down my most favorite song and video ever…I hope you adore it as much as I do.

What is your preferred format of music?
I LOVE vinyl…who doesn’t??!!

Are you a musician? If so, what do you play? If not, what would you play?
Ahhh…I wouldn’t call myself a musician but I have been trying to learn the guitar for three years now. I seem to learn three chords over a period of a week or so and get those calluses on the tips of my fingers and then get distracted with something else and wont pick the guitar up for a few months….then start the whole learning process over again. I LOVE to sing though and here is a little video of some friends and I messing around….I’m really only including it to make you smile as I know it isn’t that good. Again…enjoy!
