Meet the Vendor: Amanda Hill Photography

I’m gathering quite the page of kick ass vendors/inspiration sites*. These are people in the industry that not only would you hire for your special day, but you can just as easily sit down with and have a beer (or coffee). And since Hi-Fi is all about the tunes in our lives, we’re gonna get to know what these peeps dig on musically.

Kindred souls…that’s what I think of me and Amanda! We were both married in May, we’re both photographers, we love old buildings…and in fact, we are both renovating a historic home, and we both like to keep ourselves super busy! Add to the fact we both live in the South and we could soon turn this into an awesome drinking game and both be faced!

Can you describe your life (so far) in 3-5 songs?

What is your favorite love song?
“Both of Us Will Feel the Blast” – Waterdeep

If you could go see anyone perform live who would it be?
Tom Waits or Bob Dylan

What is your preferred format of music?
We <3 vinyl and are on the verge of needing more space to put albums.

Are you a musician? If so, what do you play? If not, what would you play?
We are not musicians, but Jonathan does play the harmonica for fun.

Insanely talented people. They photographed my wedding and the results were some sweet, sweet shots that can only be described in one word: ART.

Business aside, they are two very cool kids that you can have fun with. Whether it’s deep conversation over a cup of coffee or a spontaneous trip to Graceland Too at midnight in Nowhere, MS, you’re bound to become instant friends with this one of a kind couple. Hire them. Hang out with them. Thank me later.
