A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Leslie & Jake’s Blissful Bikeride into Marriage
Swoon-worthy weddings get me every time. I love seeing all of the intimate and personalized details couples choose to incorporate into their wedding. And hello?! A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cake!!! Um, I’ll have a slice of that please! The talented photo team must have had a blast capturing all the details…they certainly had some kind words to go along with their outstanding shots:
Leslie + Jake can best be described by one word. FUN! Leslie blew me away with all the details she had compiled to create her wedding look. Old, new, borrowed, and blue were all uniquely present in a way that spoke volumes about the style she was going for. A style that is Leslie. A style that Jake absolutely loves. One of my absolute most favorite parts of the day was their exit from the reception. They rode away on bicycles that had signs with the words “Just” and “Married” on them, it was so cute!
While Leslie couldn’t remember the exact playlist during the reception, she and the photogs assured me there were some fine tunes! As far as the “important” songs that were played, she gladly shared:
-Bridesmaids and myself: The First Day of Spring by Noah and the Whale
-Family Prayer: Come Thou Fount performed by Sufjan Stevens
-Recessional: Chariot by Page France
-Reception Entrance: Boogie Shoes by KC and the Sunshine Band
-First Dance: Swept Away (Sentimental Version) by The Avett Brothers
-Groom/Mother and Father/Bride dance: Waiting on an Angel by Ben Harper
