A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Amanda & Liam’s Treehouse Love
This.wedding.is.amazing! I feel like I need to type in staccato throughout this entry as there are so many elements that make this one helluva Hi-Fi Wedding. The music, of course, was absolutely amazing…but getting married in a TREEHOUSE!? Now that’s just radtastic to the max! From the intimate setting to the sweet selections of songs, Amanda and Liam had quite the enchanting wedding!
Our dear dear friend Russell played a Sigur Ros song ‘Gobblediegook’ (changing the cord formations and slowing it down) on his acoustic guitar as he led my brother and I (as a surprise to our guests) into the forest. Final destination was a small plank stage nestled beneath the towering trees and running river. Upon this stage stood the groom and our officiant (another dear friend Justin; which was also a surprise to our guests) before our 40 guests. Russell also followed behind us after the ceremony with an original piece he wrote.
I adored the simplicity of the acoustic guitar. It seemed beyond fitting for the surroundings. Walking down the aisle was definitely a highlight for me during the whole wedding experience…I was overflowing with emotions.
From here in to the late night we had an eclectic playlist of tunes:
