A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Robin & Jim’s Jam
Robin and Jim had a fabulous outdoor ceremony and reception at the historic Cabanne House in Forest Park. Jim has worked at Vintage Vinyl, Saint Louis’ world-famous record store in the downtown Loop, for twenty years. As a result, they had four marquis in different theaters and stores along the Loop wishing them congratulations! The ceremony was outdoors under a great shady tree. Maypoles streaming blue and green ribbon connected the dots around the ceremony cite. Jim is an avid bike rider, and some thoughtful friends gave the newly married couple a vintage tandem Schwinn, neatly parked at the steps of the Cabanne House. Mason jars and wildflowers topped the tables, keeping the green tableskirts from escaping in the playful breeze. A DJ mixed and spun records for guests dancing under the stars. Two large tents flanked the dance floor, allowing guests to lounge and sip local microbrew.
Music was executed and delivered by Rob “DJ Crucial” Fulstone
Sam Cooke “Nothing Can Change” (first dance)
Frank Sinatra “The Way You Look Tonight” (father/bride, mother/groom dance)
