A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Kindel & Taurean’s Seattle Shindig
It took 11 years for these two to tie the knot, but when they did – boy was it a bang! The wedding was held at one of Seattle’s hippest wedding venues, the Georgetown Ballroom. The space was dressed up with tons of multicolored Chinese lanterns and is filled with antiques from the city of Seattle, collected by hand by the owner. Kindel and Taurean incorporated tons of DIY details (flowers all done by the bridal party, handmade invitations and favors, etc.). The bride said this of her DIY wedding: We have tried to hand make quite a bit of what you will see the day of. Yes, this saved money, but it was very very fun doing it all and I love being crafty. I think I am most proud of the favors, which are CDs with Taurean and my favorite love songs on it. Music really brought us together at the beginning of our relationship and has played a major part all the way through it. We are also very simple and are just excited that most of our family is able to make the wedding, which is what we wanted on our day. Surrounded with Love.
