This wedding is a classic example of a lovely detailed wedding with a kick ass dance party attached! Two killer combos that make for an awesome Hi-Fi edition. Plus any couple that loves Towns Van Zandt is a couple I can relate to! Jodi shares some info on that:

We picked Jacob to play, he’s a gentle soul freshly transplanted from Texas last year. We let him have a ton of freedom based on the fact that we had super similar musical taste. The song I walked down the aisle to was Townes Van Zandt’s “If I needed you” and that was a must. Rick and I sat around listening to TVZ on our first date for like 12 hours, so his music is really special to us.

During the party after dinner Brian, our amazing DJ, played songs that Rick and I put together sprinkled with some garage favorites that Brian picked out. We did not have the by traditional dances where everyone stands around watching us…(we had had enough time in the spotlight at that point). My Dad and I have a special song “Norwegian Wood” by the Beatles. It was on the radio a ton when I was a little kid and my Dad and I used to sing it together. It has always remained “our song”. I also snuck in a second dance with my Dad which was to “If not for you” by George Harrison…(yeah we like the Beatles ha!) Rick and I danced to the Black Crowes “By your side”. It was so nice to have these private special moments with both my Dad and Rick…it was like being in a bubble among all the chaos.
