Happy Birthday to Hi-Fi Weddings!
One year ago I had the brainfart to start a wedding blog dedicated to music lovers getting hitched. I still have my first sketch book page with doodles of names and site ideas. I’ll never forget when it hit me like rocks to name it “Hi-Fi Weddings” after staring at the stack of records sitting in front of me (all dubbed as Hi-Fi). You can imagine my giddy when hifiweddings.com was available and the design fell into place. One year ago I kick started this site with my own wedding and playlist, and it’s been a thrill meeting so many kindred souls since then.
I knew this blog would allow for me to meet some fabulous people, but I never dreamed it would be at this quantity so fast. I never imagined all of the kind words that people say. I am over the moon at the response the wedding world has shown Hi-Fi Weddings…and I have each and every one of you reading these words to thank.
Thank you for your comments, tweets, emails, and praises. Thank you for following along with fellow music lovers as they tie the knot. Thank you for putting up with my rambles, squeals, typos, and sentence fragments. Thank you for pushing play and download mixes. Thank you for spreading the love of music…and love.
