A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Caroline & Andrew’s Beach Dream
“I’m a recent bride and a music junkie.” That was the first sentence of Caroline’s email…and I was sold, hook line and sinker. It only got better as I read on and I knew this was a match made in Bloven (blog heaven?)! Caroline continues with the importance of music on her wedding day:
“Andrew and I were married on the beach in the Outer Banks, the most important place on this planet to us as a couple and my family. When we first began planning we knew we wanted to focus our attention on a few things: the beach, the importance of our families to us, and our love of books & music. In planning a wedding, I knew that I should be concerned about the flower arrangements and the food at the reception. But the only aspect of the day that I wanted to devote time to was the music. I grew up on backstages across the country, my dad is in a band and, as a kid, most weekends were spent running around sound check. Because I was raised by musically obsessed parents, I too became a music junkie. Therefore, our wedding day music choices were the most important decisions on my list. After hours upon hours of selecting and tossing out songs I finally narrowed my 16-hour playlist into a manageable 6-hour playlist.”
