Jessica & Jose’s Manhattan Engagement
Jose and Jessica are kindred souls! When reading Jose’s email I got real nerdy pointing out the similarities between them and me and my husband. Between the same-lettered names (Jose + Jessica & Ashley + Andy), to loving music (they have a music blog too), to designing their own wedding stationary (my husband is a graphic designer so you can bet he did our invites). It’s always fun to meet such amazing individuals through the internets, and Jose and Jessica can testify to that! In Jose’s own words:
My fiance, Jessica, and I met through our tumblr blogs 2 years ago. After a few months of tweeting and web-chatting with one another, Jessica moved from California to live with me in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We got engaged back in November, and we just started planning our wedding which will be here in Williamsburg, in the summer of 2012. As for the stationery, I am an architect so we decided that I would design that myself. The save the dates are made to look like vintage postcards and we got them printed by vistaprint.com. The invitations themselves will be silk-screened on kraft colored cardstock, and the envelopes will also match. We also run a music blog, so music will be a very important part to our wedding and we will be sure to send you our playlists once we have made them.
