I’m not sure how many Dutchess and the Duke fans I have as readers, but they were one of my favorites! The first time my husband and I heard their debut album we were instantly hooked. Needless to say, I was pretty sad to hear about them breaking up – ever since that news there’s been a void…until now. Case Studies is Jesse’s (the Duke) new project and it’s wonderful to hear his scruffy tone again, which is only more perfect with the feminine voices that accompany him on this new track. My ear holes are so happy right now!

PS – That photo is one I took of a 45 label…betcha guys didn’t know I had my own label? While that is a true fact, it’s not called Ashley Records. Anyway, I’m totally digging that “Ashley” font!
