Adele Inspired Shoot
So my friend just got back from New Orleans and last night he was telling me about how all of the clubs and bars were always blasting the bounce remix of Adele’s song “Rolling in the Deep“. Then today I get an email with this Adele-inspired shoot so I knew it was a sign that I had to share it with you right now! In the words of the talented photographer herself, Crystal shares:
I heart two things: music and love. I’m a wedding photog, but I’ve been dying to do something a lil different and creative and fun. Adele is one of my faves, and I’ve been obsessed with her 21 album. When I heard ‘Set Fire to the Rain‘ for the first time, it immediately translated into visuals in my brain. So with collaboration, a casting call and some rare free time, we made it happen!
I let it fall, my heart,
And as it fell, you rose to claim it
It was dark and I was over
Until you kissed my lips and you saved me
But I set fire to the rain,
Watched it pour as I touched your face,
Well, it burned while I cried
‘Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name!
Sometimes I wake up by the door,
That heart you caught, must be waiting for you
Even now when we’re already over
I can’t help myself from looking for you.

First of all, that bounce remix is amazing! 21 is pretty much on repeat constantly on my iPod. This shoot captures all that is Adele – beautiful work!
