Meet the Vendor: Out of Focus Photography

I’m gathering quite the page of kick ass vendors/inspiration sites*. These are people in the industry that not only would you draw inspiration from for your special day, but you can just as easily sit down with and have a beer (or coffee). And since Hi-Fi is all about the tunes in our lives, we’re gonna get to know what these peeps dig on musically.

Courtney, the genius behind Out of Focus Photography is totally in focus with their clients! This small town gal brings images to life with her artistic eye and unique images. Not only is she fabulous with capturing life’s big moments, but since we are instagram friends, I also see such wonderful ‘small’ things! She’s a cutie patootie and I’m thankful the e-world introduced us!

Can you describe your life (so far) in 3-5 songs?
“born to be wild” by steppenwolf. “jesus christ” by brand new. “in spite of ourselves” by john prine & iris dement. “fore she was mama” by clay walker

What is your favorite love song?
mg cheesiest song ever: “faithfully” by journey. ok, so my husband isn’t a musician, but he does spend a lot of time away from our family because of work so every time i hear this song i cry. i can totally admit that i’m a sap.

If you could go see anyone perform live who would it be?
i would really like to see one of ray lamontagne’s stripped down acoustic shows. i’m pretty sure if he played “please” i would melt into the floor.

What is your preferred format of music?
vinyl first, mostly for the nostalgia (like i said i’m a sap), and then mp3. i just love how easy mp3’s are

Are you a musician? If so, what do you play? If not, what would you play?
nope…learning how to play the piano is on my list of things to do in the next 25 years. i am in love with the idea of being able to sit down at a piano and get lost in the music.
