Meet the Vendor: Korie Lynn Photo
I’m gathering quite the page of kick ass vendors/inspiration sites*. These are people in the industry that not only would you hire for your special day, but you can just as easily sit down with and have a beer (or coffee). And since Hi-Fi is all about the tunes in our lives, we’re gonna get to know what these peeps dig on musically.
You’ve seen the fabulous work of Korie Lynn here on Hi-Fi several times! It’s always a pleasure to have her work grace this site, and now we get a gander at what she digs musically! Kick your heels up and read on to see what makes this talent boogie woogie!

Can you describe your life (so far) in 3-5 songs?
My life so far in songs….wow, that’s tough. Can I just do genres? I’ll start with some classic hiphop, cuz this girl can DAAAANCE. Next, big band/swing tunes. My husband and I were big into swing dancing in college. I’ll always have a love for that whole era of music. And for the most recent, “Daylight” by Matt & Kim. It’s such a fun, upbeat, catchy song! And a big plus about it is that Joel and I finally found a song we BOTH love!! We have such different tastes in music, so the day we discovered this was a happy day in our house.
What is your favorite love song?
I’m going to have to go with “Such Great Heights” by Iron and Wine. It was the song my hubby, Joel, and I first danced to together at our wedding.
I think every couple should have this played at their wedding reception!
If you could go see anyone perform live who would it be?
If I could see anyone perform live it’d have to be Aerosmith. Can you imagine that show?! AHHHH!!! LOVE AEROSMITH. Others on the must see list would be Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Lady Gaga. Yes, Lady Gaga…again, can you imagine the show?! She’s so out there! I love it.
What is your preferred format of music?
mp3 fo sho!! But I do have fond memories of recording radio tunes on a tape then trying to learn the lyrics. This was before the time of internet lyric sites, so I definitely had to push “play” then “rewind” over and over and OVER to learn the lyrics. That’s dedication my friend.
Are you a musician? If so, what do you play? If not, what would you play?
Am I a what? A musician? I wish….I can’t even read music…I like to listen to it. Does that count?!
