A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Sarry & Davy Jay’s Honky Tonk Celebration

I’m not even sure where to start with this wedding…there’s SO much awesome sauce! Not only is Davy Jay, the groom, a talented musician, but he and Sarry’s honky tonk wedding was a rompin’, stompin’ great time! With a vaudeville comedy duo, Rembrandt & McGillicutty, as the officiants, the ceremony was both hilarious and sweet. The reception kicked off with a full blown concert! First on the bill was (in their words) “the tightest and most lubricated honky tonk band on earth,” Leon Chance and The Long Shots. Following them, were The Tillers whose multi-instrument virtuosity and upbeat old-time music continued the party. Capping off the night were the The Vallures, a group of ladies (and one lovely/lucky gentleman) whose Motown sounds were as coordinated as their outfits.
