Britt & Lindsey’s Love
Wesley and Emma are two Super Talented Love Birds (photographers) that are from my neck of the woods (North Alabama, y’all). When I came across Britt and Lindsey’s adorable engagement, I knew you all had to see this! Aside from marvelous photos, you can read about one of the most adorable proposals EVER! Lindsey shares:
We were staying with my parents in Atlanta for a couple days and Britt wanted to take me out on a date one night while we were there. We had a great dinner downtown at a restaurant where we had eaten together the first time he ever visited Atlanta and then went to a movie. After the movie, he surprised me by taking me to one of our favorite spots in Atlanta—Piedmont Park. He had brought this amazing setup for a picnic in the park with the beautiful city skyline in the background. After we sat down on a blanket, he pulled out a heart-shaped pillow that he had given me a couple weeks into when we had first started dating just over two years ago. I had the pillow on my bed ever since he gave it to me, but somehow, before we left for Atlanta, he had secretly taken it from my apartment. He then pulled out a seam ripper and told me that he wanted to show me what God had written on his heart two years ago. He opened the seams of the pillow on one side and there was a piece of white fabric rolled up and sewn to the inside of the pillow. He handed me the pillow and told me to read what was written on the fabric. I unrolled the fabric and read the words, “Will you marry me?” and looked over at him and he was down on one knee. He had written those words and sewn the fabric in before he had given the pillow to me two years earlier! It was absolutely incredible and the sweetest, most romantic proposal I ever could have dreamed of.
