Sunday Singles: The Hondells
Each week I digitize a 45 from my own personal collection and share it with the earholes of the internet. The Sunday Singles are not just for those planning a wedding, but for music lovers across the board. It’s a recollection of the past with the sound of vinyl against a needle and the warm song that results.

Do As I Say
The Hondells were an American surf-rock band from the sixties (surprise, surprise haha). You might recognize the “Sea of Love” song because of Cat Power (she seemed to make it super famous), but it was originally written by Phil Phillips and George Khoury in the late 50s. While so many people and bands have covered it, I personally adore the Hondells’ version!
