A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Molly & Jacob’s Soulful Soiree
Living in Nashville, it is no surprise that Jacob is a musician and Molly a music lover. They actually met one night when Jacob struck up a conversation based on Molly’s 1981 vintage Bruce Springsteen tour t-shirt. Sharing new songs with each other was a huge part of their romance in those early days. A year after they met, they toured the country in a 1984 RV singing and playing shows together. They have since settled back in Nashville, where Jacob dee-jays a weekly party at The 5 Spot called Keep on Movin’ (it’s a radtastic dance party that plays 50’s & 60’s soul music). As you will see, their favorite tunes totally set the vibe for the entire day!
For the ceremony, Holly and Jacob enlisted a few friends (2 violins and 1 cello) to play instrumental versions of songs that are meaningful to them.
