A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Jeremy & Kim’s Hollywood Glamour Glitz
Jeremy and Kim had an art deco/old hollywood glamour aesthetic wedding! He’s a movie director and all around character – complete with john waters “esque” mustache. Music was the FIRST thing they decided on when planning! While the wedding guests were shuttled (via boat) to the tiny ceremony island, they were greeted by the sounds of dixieland jazz. Before the ceremony, the Alley Cats sang an acappella rendition of doo-wop songs and broke into Beethoven’s Joyful, Joyful when the bride came down the aisle. During the reception, guests were seranaded by the depression era, tin pan alley jazz and ragtime melodies by Marquis Howell, II aka DJ Hobo. They were dazzled by the Razmatappers (senior ladies group of tappers) and charmed by the flapper/ragtime performances of the Atomic Cherry Bombs. The reception was perfectly topped off with the incomparable Janet Klein a songstress of early 20th century jazz, ragtime and blues. She sang a version of “It’s only a paper moon” that blew everyone away!
Let’s start with the excitement of the video before moving on to the still motion pictures!
