Juliet and Shaun were married on the 31st floor of the AT&T Center in downtown LA, over-looking the whole of the city in a space that was entirely glass-encased (Shaun dubbed it their “wedding in the clouds”). Juliet usually does the DJing, so she wanted to ensure every hand-picked song had meaning and a reason! She spent months using a program called Mixed In Key Mashup to create a blend of music from Motown to 80’s to old school hip-hop for the dance portion of the night.

Our guests entered to choral covers by Scala and Kolacny Brothers of “California Dreamin’”, “Perfect Day”, “Creep”, “Every Breath You Take”, “Blower’s Daughter”, “Enjoy the Silence”, and “Nothing Else Matters”. Juliet walked down the aisle to Bjork’s “All is Full of Love”. Towards the end of the ceremony Devotchka’s “The Winner Is” faded in and everything was so perfectly timed so the kiss would be at the climax (around 1 minute and 14 seconds into the song). The cocktail hour was a mix of newer music from Tame Impala, The Black Keys, M83, and other similar music. Check out the full wedding and playlists below!
