A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Beth & Matt’s Mt. Sopris Celebration
Matt and Beth were married at the base of Mt. Sopris at a quaint family ranch in Carbondale, Colorado. Following the back-yard-themed wedding, friends and family members enjoyed local fare, craft brews, the musical talents of a country folk band, Let Them Roar…not to mention the panoramic mountain vistas. All of the wooden signs were created by the couple for the ceremony entranceway, the dessert table, and the table numbers. A close friend of the couple created custom cocktails for guests to enjoy, as well as a scotch bar under the stars where guests listened to the band’s acoustic set after dinner.
Pre-Ceremony: “Blackbird” by the Beatles
Bridal Processional: “Stacks” by Bon Iver (instrumental version)
Ceremony: “Let It Be Me” by Ray Lamontagne
Recessional: “Blackberry Blossom”
First dance: “You Are The Best Thing” by Ray Lamontagne
Throughout the day, Let Them Roar played a lot of original music, along with better-known old country, bluegrass and rock.
