A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Katie & Billy’s Mountaintop Marriage
Oh My WOW! Have you seen Issue 11 of Utterly Engaged yet (so awesome)?! Well, perhaps you will recognize these two lovebirds. I’ve had to refrain from sharing this once we found out the good news about the feature, but I’m so excited to now be able to let this wedding be enjoyed in it’s full glory. Internet, meet Katie and Billy!!
As Billy Idol’s voice echoed through the trees that night I smiled at what we had been lucky enough to witness…and capture. I thought to myself “it was a nice day for a White(/Davis) wedding.” Anyone who was atop Burritt Mountain that day saw the magic of Katie and Billy’s wedding. Two souls coming together surrounded by their friends and family. The day started with a family-only ceremony inside the rustic, intimate chapel built in 1884. After the knots were tied and the kiss exchanged, it was an afternoon of music, fun, lawn games, friends, and love.
There was music a-plenty at their afternoon affair turned dancing under the stars! Katie compiled a list to be played during the afternoon lawn games and dinner and then the DJs took over well into the night! It was a blast to photograph and dance along to some of my favorite songs!
