Well guys, I’m back to the 21st century! After four days with no power, I’m lucky that was my only problem. Alabama (and the South in general) were hit HARD last week…if you haven’t heard. While Wednesday was an extremely anxious day, we were thanking the stars to be able to fall asleep with our house and lives still intact. You can see my personal recap post about “Blackout Snackout” if you wanna. Also, my friend Ryan recently posted this CRAZY footage of the tornado that touched down and “obliterated” Tuscaloosa. There’s tons of videos out there, as well as photos and news articles with information on how to help, if you’re so inclined.
Today’s tune is a new diddy from one of my favorite Summer bands. I mean, they are great all year round, but it’s just so perfect in the summertime. You can bet there will be at least one Black Lips song on every mix played at BBQs. We’re hoping to score these guys for the Bamalama Fest coming up later this year – fingers crossed!

It hadn’t even occurred to me that you live right in the midst of the chaos down south. I kept checking your blog every day wondering why you weren’t posting. Glad you, your family and friends are all doing well.
