Meet the Inspiration: OMG I’m Getting Married
I’m gathering quite the page of kick ass vendors/inspiration sites*. These are people in the industry that not only would you draw inspiration from for your special day, but you can just as easily sit down with and have a beer (or coffee). And since Hi-Fi is all about the tunes in our lives, we’re gonna get to know what these peeps dig on musically.
So what did you say when you got engaged? I’m sure there was an “OMG” in there somewhere, sometime! Well, Alexis did right by snagging omgimmarried.com and FILLING it with beautiful inspiration for brides and grooms of all kinds. She also loves cats and is a fabulous designer – two things that make my heart happy! She’s also a stylish and snazzy gal that I know would make an easy going pal!

Can you describe your life (so far) in 3-5 songs?
Most listened to tape track – Electric Youth by Debbie Gibson
My first CD ever – I’m Too Sexy single by Right Said Fred
Best dance class I have ever attended – Black & Gold by Sam Sparro (taught by Matt Cady of Fanny Pack)
Most played song in my office right now – Intro on the XX album
Song that was playing after my fiance proposed to me – Fireflies by Owl City
What is your favorite love song?
At the moment I am loving most songs by Sade.
If you could go see anyone perform live who would it be?
I would have to go with Michael Jackson for the music or Lady Gaga for the fashion.
What is your preferred format of music?
mp3s – I think I have scratched every single CD / DVD that I own which is a total bummer.
Are you a musician? If so, what do you play? If not, what would you play?
Unfortunately I am not a musician. Not even a little bit – I think the best I did was playing in a handbell choir, but that was not very successful! (The gloves didn’t really match my outfits either…) I do really love music though and spent a very short time dancing professionally in London while studying Graphic Design. If I could play an instrument, I suppose it would be a ukulele – there is shop near my office called the Duke of Uke and I would totally go in there. At the moment, I am a distant admirer
