Meet the Vendor: Stardust Productions

Ginny and John are SUPER! Not only are they an adorable couple of talented videographers, they prefer using Super 8 cameras to document the precious moments under the name Stardust Productions. As if that wasn’t enough, this husband and wife wonder also design stunning invites! Based in California, but with a love to travel, these two might just be what you are missing from your life!

Can you describe your life (so far) in 3-5 songs?
we grew up in the suburbs: Arcade Fire – Sprawl II [Mountains Beyond Mountains]
we fell in love and got married: Otis Redding & Carla Thomas – Knock On Wood
we moved to Los Angeles: Weezer – Beverly Hills
we love shooting super-8 film: Paul Simon – Kodachrome

What is your favorite love song?
Lovesong by the Cure. It’s a long story, but Beck’s Loser is “our song.” Perhaps not a love song in the traditional sense, but it’s special to us.

If you could go see anyone perform live who would it be?
Oh my gosh! Impossible question. Perhaps Jane’s Addiction circa 1991? Or The Beatles?! Fela Kuti?!

What is your preferred format of music?
Easy, vinyl.

Are you a musician? If so, what do you play? If not, what would you play?
Ginny wants to play jazz guitar like Wes Montgomery. John plays folky-rock songs on the guitar and is learning the banjo.
