A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Jeff & Jessica’s Nashville Nuptials
Jessica and Jeff met while working in the music industry, so they decided to do a destination wedding in Nashville. They chose to have an evening rooftop wedding overlooking the Cumberland River and LP Field. As a very special surprise to Jessica, Jeff arranged for a performance by country music band Emerson Drive, who sang Jessi and Jeff’s favorite song “Belongs to You.” As the music began, Jessi still didn’t know that it was live until she heard the first note sung. To go with their music-themed wedding, the reception featured some amazing elements, including a black guitar for guests to sign and a black and white cake with music notes. Their wedding stationery was designed by Cory Ridge and included invitations that were made to look like a concert ticket (complete with perforated RSVP ticket stub).
First Dance: At Last by Etta James (first dance)
Bouquet Toss: Single Ladies by Beyonce (bouquet toss)
Bride/Mother Dance: I Hope You Dance by Leann Womak (Bride dance with her mother)
Groom/Daughter Dance: My Little Girl by Tim McGraw (Groom dance with his daughter)
Reception Hits
Cupid Shuffle by Cupid
Hot and Cold by Katy Perry
Celebration by Kool and the Gang
Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Lepard
In addition to country recording artists Emerson Drive performing during the ceremony, members of the band Crossin’ Dixon and singer Danielle Peck were also in attendance. Danielle Peck wrote a song inspired by Jessica and Jeff’s wedding and sent them a recording of it!

We had such a great time at Jessi & Jeff’s Nashville wedding! We’ll never forget their ceremony when Jessi realized that Emerson Drive was performing their song LIVE! Jeff worked so hard to make it happen (and keep it a secret). It paid off! Such a touching moment! <3
Thanks for featuring this amazing couple! : )
