May I Take a Moment?
Boy was I ever thrilled for 2012 to begin! Not only will it be fun riding out the end of a long cycle (I’m hoping for the “awakening” aspect moreso than the “apocalyptic”) but I have some exciting plans in the works for this year! One huge HUZZAH that came late last year via email was an invite to contribute to a monthly submission to everyone’s favorite Brooklyn Bride. Doing what I know best, I’m creating monthly mixes! My first one went live last week and I’m already gathering ideas and songs for February. I can’t thank Vané enough for letting me take over her reader’s earholes for an entire year!
I’ll post the graphic and track listing below, but you can CLICK HERE to listen!
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah – Same Mistake
The Beets – Doing as I Do
Japanther – Spread So Thin
Pat Benatar – Love is a Battlefield
Sharon Jones and he Dap-Kings – 100 Days 100 Nights

Nice mix! My boyfriend is friends with the guys from Das Racist. They’re silly dudes.

I’ve been bad about keeping up with my fave blogs, I’m only just seeing this now. What a sweet gig, congrats! Looking forward to your sure-to-be-rockin’ future mixes.
