Moulin Rouge Romance

I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve seen Moulin Rouge! By the third time I knew just about all of the words to the songs and my friends and I would sing along in the (empty) theatre (we always went in the middle of the day when hardly anyone was at the movies). When I saw Alyssa post sneak peeks of this inspirational shoot on instagram (find me under verticalhouse) I secretly hoped she could feel my giddiness through the screen! I guess something worked because I have the incredible privilege to share this incredible shoot! Being musicians, Billy and Stephanie were the perfect models for the Moulin Rouge romance!

Here’s what Alyssa had to say about the shoot: When I told Stephanie about my idea, she jumped at the chance to take on any crafts that needed to be done for this shoot. She made her skirt with her own two hands and she made a replica of the famous Moulin Rouge windmill from scratch! I’m telling ya, this girl’s got mad skills.
