A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Amanda & Matthew’s Mixtape Magic
I could LIVE in this wedding! I’m absolutely in love with all of the details – from the beer in tubs, whimsy wildflowers, finger puppets, and lawn games, to the MIXTAPE favor…I’m totally smitten. Amanda and Matthew had a family and friend-centric wedding which took place in a serene location. Even a little bit of rain couldn’t throw of the magic of their day. Amanda and Matthew’s wedding is full of hi-fi inspiration!
Family Processional: Walk of Life
(which is what my English husband’s family calls their family song). No matter where it comes on they dance. We didn’t tell them what the music would be so it was super cute to watch my father in law sing and dance all the way into the tent.
Bridal Processional: Romeo & Juliet by Dire Straits
The first night Matthew and I had a sleepover he sang it to me before we fell asleep. It has been my favorite song since I was a teenager.
First Dance: Book of Love by Magnetic Fields
Parent Dances: Father’s Son by Cat Stevens
