Music has always been a big part of Matt and Kelly’s lives. Matt plays guitar and Kelly grew up seated in front of a piano. All of their favorite memories of falling in love involve music – countless date nights to local Austin concert venues or Matt arranging a picnic by the lake so he could sing to Kelly and strum his acoustic guitar.

Kelly includes: Not only did our wedding day playlist have a lot of meaning to us in terms of the songs we chose for each portion of the day, but we also surprised our guests during the reception by each performing a song dedicated to one another. I played the keyboard while my younger sister Rachael made her singing debut performing Ellie Goulding’s version of “Your Song”, and Matt played his personal rendition of “My Girl.” Our family and friends adored this surprise and we still receive compliments for adding this unique and personal aspect into our reception.
