A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Jeremy & Brooke’s Bowties & Boas Bash

Brooke and Jeremy’s Texas wedding was truly a reflection of their fun-filled relationship, and was aptly themed Bowties and Boas. Their wedding website encouraged guests to “Break out your bow tie, suspenders, fascinator, boa or whatever else tickles your fancy. Wear something you love.” The day began with a sweet ceremony at Long Center for Performing Arts overlooking the gorgeous Austin skyline. Their sweet puppy Lucy walked down the aisle as ring bearer with her custom feather collar. After the deal was sealed, the evening festivities moved to the gorgeous garden grounds of the French Legation Museum for a Great Gatsby inspired evening of fun.

Live music by The White Ghost Shivers warmed everybody up and got everyone moving and grooving! Followed by the LCD Soundsystem cover band, All My Friends, which kicked the dance party into high gear. Even when the power circuit blew, the guests continued singing the song a capella! At the end of the night, Brooke & Jeremy ran through a tunnel of friends! What a BLAST!!

I love seeing such awesome Austin weddings! I never thought about the Long Center but the images clearly show how awesome a venue it could be for weddings.
