You & Me: A Styled Shoot

So many couples have an emotional connection to music and the bands or songs they share in common with their love story. This styled shoot is inspired by the Dave Matthews Band album ‘Big Whiskey & the GrooGrux King,’ specifically the song ‘You & Me’ – a romantic lil’ ditty! Each decor element was carefully selected drawing from the illustrative design of the album cover. It has a muted and dreamy feel of the energy of mardi gras, music, and symbolism that infused the design of the shoot. From the ceremony ‘You & Me’ painting, ‘The Kings’ sweet heart table, ‘Sweets’ dessert cart, to the painting of the dress on the escort card table – each of the paintings become a forever memory of the day as treasured keepsakes as decor in the couple’s home as well as gifts for the family and wedding party.
